I was born and raised in Helena , Arkansas . I left home at the age of twenty to join the U.S. Army. While in the military I traveled to several states and was stationed in Germany for several years which helped to satiate my wanderlust spirit. Well...., maybe not entirely!!!!!
I continued my service to the U.S. by becoming a civilian employee with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration in Kansas City , Missouri . In 2003 I retired from the U.S. Department of Labor and decided to move to Florida . I came to Gainesville with the intension of staying only one year, but after a few months I grew to love the heart and spirit of Gainesville and decided to stay.
Each job or career change I have made has been in the service of my country and I bring that spirit of service with me into my real estate career. Service to people is important to me. I look forward to helping each individual with his/her own specific real estate need and am never too busy to help their family and friends.
I am a member of the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce and the Gainesville Area Women’s Network. I do volunteer work through the Retire Senior Volunteer Program.
I have a Master of Public Affairs with an emphasis in Business and Government Relations from Park University , in Parkville , Missouri . |
